How I use Umberto Giannini Backcomb In A Bottle..

Sunday, 9 January 2011

Hi my lovelies,

A while ago I did a review on Umberto Giannini's Backcomb in a bottle and in that review I explain my technique of using it. Looking at the traffic coming to my blog. A common reoccurance in the search keywords are for Backcomb in a bottle. I figured as I was using it today I would take a few snaps and show you my step by step process!

First we start off with flat hair... wow I look happy.

Then I take sections of my hair on both sides, pull them up vertically and spray underneath. (I dont know why the 2nd picture is blurry!)

Then once you have done this to both sides, as the can says 'jujj' my hair up into shape.

And here is the final result. A volumised, slightly messy (i like it looking like that somedays!) hairstyle.

Hope this was in some way helpful to any of you not quite sure how to use this product. I like backcomb in a bottle, but i know its quite divided in the beauty community! What are your thoughts, have you tried, do you love it or hate it?

Much Love.

  1. i have always wanted to try this but have quite short hair and am unsure whether or not it would just make me look like my fingers been in a plug socket lol!!
might give it a bash though...

  2. I so need to try this, I love the difference it seems to have made. I tend not to brush my hair just because it goes so flat, always trying to find ways to give it volume! Its naturally wavy anyway but I could use this when I straigten it.

  3. How has this product totally gone under my radar? I clearly will have to try this.

I think I'll be able to 'jujj' my hair just fine *thumb up*

    Thanks for the tips x

  4. I haven't tried it but your hair looks amazing with it in.

  5. @itsrebecca I think if you use it and then sort of style your hair into place it would look good. But just spray a little bit at a time so you dont go overboard! x

@Sophie You should give it a go! I know its hard to find in some shops in the uk though! Let me know if you try it! x

@Clever Rabbit I do not know! So many people have been going on about it! You should try it out! x

@Jess You should give it a go Jess, its great! x
