Review : Yves Rocher Culture Bio EnergiZing Serum

Thursday, 17 May 2012

It's becoming apparent that recently serums are becoming more and more popular with beauty bloggers! When I was offered the opportunity to try some Yves Rocher products I figured it would be a great chance to try some serums and see what all the fuss was about.  I was kindly sent a full sized bottle of the Yves Rocher Culture Bio Energising Serum to try. Most mornings I do need a little bit of a pick me up (who doesn't on a weekday when you have to get up at 6:45 to get ready for work) The Yves Rocher Energizing Serum is great for 'waking up my skin' before I apply my makeup in the mornings.
It's herbal peppermint scent is a really nice bareable for me which is a big plus, as sometimes I try products and the scent is just too much for me, however this one isnt too overpowering which is good. (especially when you are applying it so early in the morning.) The product is housed in a glass/ceramic bottle with an easy grip pipette to distribute the product. A little goes a long way, you only need a pea sized amount to cover your entire face. The serum itself is quite a milky colour but applies clear and sinks in quickly.
Admittedly I don't use this serum every day, however on the days where my skin is feeling and looking a bit drab I make sure I use it in my routine to give me that little refreshing pick me up I need!  It does retail for £18.20 on the Yves Rocher website, which understandably may be a bit pricey for some. I do like it and it does make my skin feel fresher and look a bit brighter after using it which i do like, I havent seen any difference in the appearance in my skin in the long term, but I havent used it as regularly is you are probably meant to. Maybe with continued use I may see some difference. I'll be sure to give you a little update on that!

Have you tried any Yves Rocher products before?

Much Love
