So this weekend was a pretty chilled affair. On Saturday Shelley and I headed into town to check out the Christmas Market. This is the first year we have had this in our town so we were eager to have a mooch around. We kind of made a bad decision to go along on the day it opened as it was so busy. Nestled in a section of the main park were rows of little huts (decorated B&Q Sheds basically) full of a variety of treats for the festive season. There were various bits and bobs for sale. Yankee candles, Christmas tree decorations, hot doughnuts and various alcoholic beverages including warm ciders!

Saturday evening I kicked tom out and had the girls over to take part in 'The In Thing'. This was a way to raise money for cancer research. The main point of it was to have a night in and raise some money  for a good cause rather than spending it on a night out on the town (not that i go on nights out that often these days!) It was a really nice evening. We ate 'party food', became the 5th judge when watching Xfactor, had a good gossip and cried with laughter watching THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO

Today Tom and I are heading to Portsmouth for a spot of shopping! Tom has the entire week off and I had a couple of days still to take off before the end of the year so we thought we would take this opportunity to go and get our Christmas tree & decorations. I've done most of my Christmas shopping now but Tom is yet to buy anything so I will be helping him get presents too! - Ones for me! ;-)

I hope you all had a good weekend and are excited for Christmas! Have you done any of your christmas shopping yet?

Much love,
