You may have heard of Chia seeds before (they are a superfood which are a great source of fatty acids. I actually got a little pack in my October Birchbox!) With chia seed oil being a main ingredient for the Perricone MD Chia serum* you know it's going to be good for you. It's crammed with Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants. Perfect for giving your skin a bit of a treat! Now I will admit, I am a bit rubbish when it comes to a night time skin care regime (I can be lazy, just taking my makeup off and getting into bed, too tired to slap on the lotions and potions before I sleep!) however after remembering to use this for a few nights in a row, I was really happy with the results I was getting so I made sure it was a step I wasn't missing out.
This serum comes with a little pipette so it's very easy to distribute. A little really does go a long way (which is a good thing considering the price tag!) I only needed about 2 drops to cover my entire face. To apply I simply rub the serum between my palms and gently pat it all over my face after I have removed all my makeup and cleansed.. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've hardly made a dent! It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily at all, in fact it sinks into my skin very quickly. It became apparent when I first used this serum was that it smells like marzipan! It might be different to other people but I definitely get a marzipan scent! - Just a heads up incase you aren't a fan!
The Chia serum is scientifically formulated to transform your skin, get rid of the dullness, make it more radiant and keep you hydrated. After just a couple of uses my skin was very soft and brighter. I suffer with dry skin around my nose and this got rid of it in just a few days. We all know I am a fan of the Caudalie thirst quenching serum for this reason too, however the Perricone MD Chia serum does top it slightly because of it's brightening properties. My skin has a lot more life to it now and doesn't look as drab as it did before!
Have you tried this serum before, or anything from Perricone MD?
