BEAUTY : June Beauty Favourites

Monday, 22 June 2015

Makeup wise there have been a few standout products for me this month, starting with the Mary-Lou manizer highlighter from The balm. A firm favourite in the beauty world, it was only a matter of time before it found its way into my makeup collection. A finely milled powder that provides just the right amount of glow to your cheekbones. At £17.50 it isnt the cheapest highlighter out there, but its a price I can justify paying due to the results it gives. If you havent tried it yet, then what are you waiting for, go!

I've been trying to make a little more effort with wearing my lipsticks. I have just over a handful of shades which often get neglected. I dont know why, I just tend to finish my daily face makeup without adding anything to my lips! That being said shade 38 from the Kate Moss Rimmel Lasting finish collection has been my go to shade during June (when I've remembered to add the lippy!) It's a beautiful pinky nude which is a perfect everyday colour, suitable for work without being too in your face. When you go so many days without lipstick and then put some on, people tend to comment, so best to do it sutblely!

My eyebrows are important to me, said as it sounds but I know I'm not alone here! Having dabbled with the HD Brow palette for a few years it was time for a change. When I was in New York I purchased the Anastasia Brow Whizz, which I did love. However after hearing many good things about the Soap & Glory Archery pencil, I decided to give it a go. This is my 3rd repurchase of this product, I absolutely love it. Not only is it more cost effective and readily available for me compared to the Anastasia one , it does just about the same job! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a new brow product to try. Soap and Glory is often on 3 for 2 so stock up! The shade I use is Hot Chocolate.

I seem to go through a lot of shampoo & conditioner so it made sense to start purchasing the bigger sized bottles. I am a fan of Tigi products already, the S Factor root boost spray is a frequent repurchased product! I always spot the big salon sized bottles in my local tkmaxx for decent price of £14.99 each, so I finally bit the bullet and bought myself this Headshot reconstructive duo. I've recently gone a lot blonder, so the colour is taking a bit of a toll on my hair. I thought these would be a great pair to to use in order to try and repair it a bit! They have the same scent of the S Factor range which is a delicious strawberry and cream scent. If you don't find any in your local TMaxx, not to worry. You can purchase the larger bottle of Tigi products here online, at the same price (or less). If I cant find any in store when I need to restock I'll be heading over there to get another 2 bottles!

What products have you been loving during the month of June?

Much Love,
